PRA Membership Eligibility Questionnaire

Eligibility

This section will check your eligibility for membership.

Are you a serving / former member The Parachute Regiment who qualified as a military parachutist? *

Yes

Have you qualified as a military parachutist and served in a British airborne/air assault or Special Forces unit? *

Yes

Were you an officer or other rank who served on the War Establishment of a Parachute Battalion or Parachute Brigade Headquarters during the Second World War prior to 6th September 1945? *

Yes

Have you served as a qualified military parachutist in a foreign airborne unit and able to prove your airborne credentials? *

Yes

Are you an ex member of the Armed Forces, Cadet Instructor or have a family link to a member of the Airborne Forces? *

Yes

We apologise but based on your answers to the above questions, you are not eligible to apply for membership of the PRA.

Membership Subscription Rate.

Life Membership of the Association for all types is £7.50 (OAP Rate £5.00).

Proof of Eligibility.

If applying for Full, Associate or Affiliate membership, documentary proof of military parachute qualification must be provided. A scanned copy is sufficient. The original document can be obtained by writing to: Army Records Centre, APC Disclosures 1, MP520, Kentigern House, 65 Brown Street, Glasgow G2 8EX. Supply your DOB, Army No, NI No and a photocopy of the photograph page of your passport or driving license. There is no fee for this service.

Branch Membership.

Being a member of a Branch will enable the local Branch Secretary to pass Association information on to you. Details of your nearest branch will be supplied by return of post. Alternatively please advise us of the Branch you wish to join in your local area. We will inform the branch Secretary who will in turn advise you of branch meetings and activities.
