 Life after the Army

Married with two daughters, David lives near Maidstone. He was a Licenced London Taxi Driver for 36 years and was a volunteer for 10 years at his local Childrens Hospice. In November 2009 he and his wife (Lynn) both had Cancer, Davids being Bladder Cancer.

David firmly believes in giving something back to the society that we live in so he uses this experience to help, advise and talk about Bladder Cancer (and his bag) to those who need reassurance and support. Sadly, Davids’s wife died of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2020 and he has recently completed an on-line course to be a Volunteer for the MND Association.
