Chris Jackson

I’m Chris (Jacko) Jackson ex D Coy and SP Coy, 2 Para. I was with the Patrols in 1982 during the Falklands War, MT Pl, then from 1988 Depot Para attached to a Cadet Trg Team in London and Princess Marina College REME.
I served from 1972 to 1995 leaving as a Sgt and joining London University OTC for a couple of years before getting a civil service job at the Army Foundation College, Harrogate as a Caving Instructor.
I have been with the York Branch of the PRA since 2002 and am currently its Chairman and Standard Bearer.
I’m still caving, climbing, kayaking and at age 73 have just taken up paragliding.
