ParaData is the living history of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces. It tells the story of Airborne forces from their inception, through to the present day with imagery, videos, interviews, biographies of campaigns, units and individuals. This site is the official online archive of Airborne Assault – The Museum of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, Duxford.

It is generously supported by The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Charity Ltd. (Support Our Paras) If you are serving or have served, or have a relative you are a part of airborne history, and we want you to be part of ParaData, to keep alive your airborne heritage – and the human story of those who go to war from the air. Help make sure that the achievements of the British airborne forces get recorded for future generations. Become a member and create a profile, it is completely free of charge.

Creating a profile on ParaData will enable you to:- record your service and tell your own story- add photographs and documents- add memories and comments about others- identify unknown faces so your comrades are not forgotten.

Every application is vetted to ensure contributors are genuine, and their records are authentic. You choose your own password to access members’ facilities.

You do not have to be a computer expert. We can help and do the technical work for you. With your permission, your items will be scanned, digitised and catalogued onto ParaData, and the correct links made so that the story can be properly followed.
