Exercise Enduring Heritage

After starting from the drop zones of Operation Market Garden in Arnhem the 10 soldiers from C Coy 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment are nearing the end of their 500 mile weighted tab to Normandy. After passing through the Rhine Crossing, Bastogne and the Ardennes battlefields, they are close to finishing their tab at Merville Battery in Normandy tomorrow.  The soldiers marched with 35lb rucksacks, covering up to 30 miles per day. This is to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the battles of Normandy and Arnhem, raising money for the regimental charity, Support Our Paras.
They are trying to raise just £3000 more. A tenner each will get them there!
