D-Day, Dakota Veterans Appeal

RHQ have received a request for assistance in the making of a new programme for Channel 4. Sarah Swift from North One Television, a production company in Birmingham that are producing a new programme for Channel 4 that will commemorate the 75^th Anniversary of the D-Day landings next year’.

They recently produced Dunkirk: The Forgotten Heroes for Channel 4. If you’d like to take a look I’ve copied a link below:

As part of the programme they are really keen to interview veterans who worked as crew members on Dakotas or jumped from them as part of the Parachute Regiment and that were specifically involved in the D-Day landings. Individual Branches of the Association may have received this request directly. If anyone is aware of any such veteran, within their Branch or otherwise, that may be suitable for them to speak to, with a view to interviewing them as part of the programme, can you please get in touch?
