Chief Minister meets the PRA

PRA member John Stephen Thomas Barea, recently had th honour of meeting the Hon. Fabian R. Picardo QC. MP  “Chief Minister of Gibraltar”.

The Chief Minister told John that he has great admiration and respect for Airborne Forces.

John served in 16^th Independent  Para Brigade Group in the fifties and boarded aircraft carrier Triumph, in Portsmouth and sailed to Cyprus. Some time later, trouble started in the Suez Canal and he left Cyprus for the Canal Zone from where he was later demobbed.

John is a long term resident of Gibralter.
