We asked 7 RHA and French Foreign Legion veteran Jock Love, a war poet who ranks with bygone greats like Edmund Blunden, Alan Seeger and Isaac Rosenberg, if he would choose a Poem of the Month for us. For May 2021, the thirty-ninth anniversary of the beginning of the Falklands War, Jock chose Arctic Socks, written thirty years after he landed on Blue Beach on May 21st 1982, attached to 2 PARA.
