Remembrance Day Cenotaph Parade 2024

The Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph will take place on Sunday 10 November 2024.

The parade will be led by: TBC

The Association has been allocated 125 places to march this year.

How to register your interest

If you would like to register to march with The Parachute Regimental Association contingent, please send the following details to secretary@prahq.com:

• Full Name
• Email Address for all future correspondence regarding this event (if different)
• An email address must be provided by all applicants for the allocation of tickets
• Full Address incl postcode

Your name and email address will be sent to the Royal British Legion and then they will send you a link. You must click on this link to register your full details. Please check your junk/spam folder for the initial and subsequent emails from them.

Registration open date

Registration with us is open all year until all places are filled.

Registration closing date

Everyone should register by 25 August 2024. The online booking system will close at this time and no further applications will be accepted until the RBL confirm numbers and issue any additional places that may be available. All Branch Secretaries are requested to inform their members and ensure they are aware of the changes and submit any applications to this HQ. All those attending on the day must carry photo proof of identity.

IMPORTANT DATES

The key dates for 2024 are as follows:

25 August: Deadline for associations and members to complete individual participant information. Registration closes.

30-31 October: E-Tickets and instructions sent to participants.

Security

Individual security checks will take place before entry to Horse Guards Parade. Ticket holders are to bring photographic ID and proof of address with them to gain access.

Schedule of events

For planning purposes here are the outline Timings for the event:

• 0800 – Horse Guards open
• 1000 – Contingents are to be Assembled ready to march into Whitehall
• 1005 – Contingents step off from Horse Guards as directed by Parade Marshals
• 1050 – All contingents to be formed up in Whitehall
• 1059 – His Majesty The King arrives at the Cenotaph
• 1100 – Two Minute Silence
• TBC – March Past Starts
