Remembrance Day – Cenotaph Parade 2022

This year’s Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph will take place on Sunday 13 November 2022.

The parade will be led by Major General Jonathan Shaw CBE.

The Association should be allocated 150 places to march but this is not confirmed yet. If you would like to register to march with The Parachute Regimental Association contingent, please send the following details to

Registration with us is open now.

Anyone who has not registered must do so by August 2022. The online booking system will close on this date and no further applications will be accepted until the RBL confirm numbers and issue any additional places that may be available. All Branch Secretaries are requested to inform their members and ensure they are aware of the changes and submit any applications to this HQ. All those attending on the day must carry photo proof of identity.

(Includes; Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Civil Servants)
Category 3 Ex-Service Personnel with no campaign medal
Category 4 Bereaved Spouses (who died on operations)
Category 5 Veteran association representatives
Category 6 Military Charities and associated Civilian groups

The following are the key dates for the 2022 parade:

13 June: All association initial applications to be submitted. Any applications received after the due date will not be accepted. DONE
4 July: RBL to confirm 2022 ticket allocation to each association.
29 August: Deadline for associations to complete individual participant information.
19 September: Application process to re-open for associations to register additional participants if vacancies exist.
TBC October: Tickets and Joining Instructions sent to associations. Email tickets sent to individuals.

0800       Horse Guards open

1000       Contingents are to be Assembled ready to march into Whitehall

1005       Contingents step off from Horse Guards as directed by Parade Marshals

1050       All contingents to be formed up in Whitehall

1059       Her Majesty The Queen arrives at the Cenotaph

1100       Two Minute Silence
