The 14th Aldershot (Pegasus) Scout Group were invited to take part in the unveiling of the Airborne Soldier in Aldershot on Saturday 6th July 2019. This was a momentous event for the scouts and all involved. Matt Speck said “It has been one of the best events in the Garrison for a very long time and to be part of it was a massive privilege, not only for myself, but for our whole Scout Group.”

Last year the Scouts were given the authority to wear the Pegasus on their uniform., and will carry on wearing this with pride to keep the history of The Parachute Regiment alive through the younger generation of Aldershot.

The group presented General Sir John Lorimer, Colonel Commandant of The Parachute Regiment with the colours of the 14th Aldershot (Pegasus) Scout Group.
